If your floors are worn and they going to replace after you leave I can't see the problem. Also I've rented all my life and I always consider the damage deposit lost anyway, who cares about damage deposit? Unless they plan to charge you extra, is this possible?

Oh WOW!!!! Y’all did thaaat!!! I don’t even know which project I like the best. My smaller bathroom looks similar and it definitely needs a makeover. I never thought about putting molding after I put my sticky tiles down in my larger bathroom. It gives it a finished look. I will definitely be doing that in a few weeks! Wow, I’m so amazed! And I loved the mirror frame. It adds a touch of class to the bathroom. You two are great!!!❤️❤️

That looks beautiful. We installed large square tiles on our floor and now we have a cracked tile. The peel and stick tiles seem like they would have been a better option in hind sight.

Can you use a blow dryer to heat up the glue for easier removal?

You could also mention how to turn the house water off and then back on again in a way that doesn't put air in the pipes

One suggestion. When dealing with electricity you should demonstrate how to test whether a wire is still live.

I did my upstairs bathroom, floor and walls, and I'm proud of myself and I also remember how sore I was when I did the floor, I had to call in on my job, I couldn't do it😩, I know, I should've never tried to work on my floor on a work day even tho I work at night😖.....

It is good for cleaning the grout?

You all convinced me to go with peel and stick tiles for my master bath makeover! Thanks! It looks great! I will say, tho, that the adhesive on those tiles is serious. A few tiles in and my fingers were oh, so sticky which made it challenging to manipulate the X spacers I was usingto make consistent grout lines and I HIGHLY recommend NOT NOT NOT using those little X spacers. Sure, they'll work, but the round ones that you used for the hex tiles in this video are less fussy once the adhesive has transferred to your hands. And lastly, now that you'lve lived with LVT on your WALLS, what do you think? I am guessing it is an interior bath as vinyle is notorious for not taking UV radiation very well. I do want to do my bath walls with vinyl since the drywall is a fright, but it is an east facing bath with morning sun. So I guess I just gotta repair and texture the drywall, or got with ceramic tile for the wall, but likely just round out my DIY skills by learning the drywall techniques.

Question, when you buy them in store are all the edges intact? We've been ordering online and they always arrive with the corners chipped and the edges damaged by getting bumped so the locking edges flatten out.... Is this normal and should I install them as they are?;

Clean the floor with degreaser and then fill the grout lines? or fill the grout lines first and then clean all the floor with degreaser? Thanks and Happy Fathers Day!
